Mumbai University Admission 2025: Application Deadline Extended To May 26, Check Revised Schedule

Mumbai University Admission 2025: The University of Mumbai has extended the last date to apply for admission to all undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) integrated programmes for the 2025-26 academic session.
As per the revised circular, eligible candidates can now submit their online application forms until May 26, 2025.
The decision to revise the schedule comes in view of the recent declaration of Class 12 (HSC) examination results.
Students can fill the admission form through the official website – mu.ac.in by 1:00 PM on May 26, 2025 The first merit list for admissions will now be released on May 27 at 5:00 PM, followed by document verification and fee payment between May 28 and May 30.
Students can apply for 3-year degree courses, 4-year honours with research programmes, and 5-year integrated UG-PG programmes featuring multiple entry and exit options. Applications must be submitted through the university’s official portal: mu.ac.in/admission. The university has clarified that the admission schedule for B.M.S.
courses under AICTE will be announced separately after the CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra, releases the entrance examination results.

Colleges are instructed to admit students only within the sanctioned intake capacity while ensuring compliance with the prevailing reservation policies and programme-specific eligibility criteria.
Additionally, the Directors of Sub-campuses in Thane, Kalyan, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg have been specifically instructed to follow the admission schedule, reservation norms, and eligibility rules without exception.
